We had a wonderful two weeks in this great Villa on the Mar Menor Resort.
The villa is equipped with everything you need for your holiday and is in a peaceful location of the resort
We fully recommend the villa and the owners information and advise was top notch

Lovely villa and pool well situated on a beautiful polaris world resort.
Easy access to Los Alcazares town and beaches and short drive (20-30min) to areas such as La Manga (Med one side, Mar Menor the other !)and Torrevejia.(Water Park)
Villa well equiped and has lovely views from the master bedroom balcony over orange trees and to the nearby mountains.
Would recommend the villa for a young family especially with the pool being very close to the downstairs outside sitting area. (Allowed us to keep an eye on the "wee ones" and still relax!)

The Villa is in a good location and the heated swimming pool is a positive. Unfortunately that is all we can say in its favour.
The Villa is tired, needs a makeover and the furniture is more akin to a student bedsit than a "luxury" villa, particularly the patio furniture which was B&Q bargain bucket standard. We stayed at La Torre last summer and the difference was night and day,
During the stay we had constant problems with the electrical / heating system - not power cuts, but overloading of the system due to a fault which was eventually sorted on day 12 of our stay. The shower pulsed between hot and cold and it was often not possible to use more than one electrical appliance without the power tripping. Overall, very disappointing.

A very disappointing and unfairly harsh review in our view, which by these guests own admission is also contrary to past testimonials of previous guests, several of whom have returned to enjoy our villa more than once, including those in the villa prior to these guests and who did not want to leave.
The villa is furnished, equipped and maintained to a high standard with good quality furnishings and facilities. It is decorated in a traditional Mediterranean style with clean cool white walls, and has marble bathrooms. Where possible, we have used modern but traditional Spanish style furniture, and Spanish sourced furniture. The patio furniture is certainly not ‘B&Q bargain bucket standard’, having to endure the rigors of a mostly hot and dry Spanish climate, as well as comfortably accommodating our family, our guests, and us. It is our home from home, which is very well equipped and maintained. The villa is not furnished with poor quality furnishings and basic facilities purely for rental purposes.
There is nothing in the villa remotely ‘akin to a student bedsit’, which was the description these guests used in their separate email to us in respect of the suite covers and lounge rugs.
Their email also states that their disappointment was partly due to their expectations. We are sorry that the villa was not up to their expectations.
The number of guests and repeat guests we attract every year is a testament to the overall enjoyment and quality of our villa, and we refute most strongly any suggestion that it is tired or in need of any makeover.
We have been advised by our onsite keyholders and housekeeper that "the constant problems with the electrical / heating system" were caused by these guests unreasonably running our pool heating at maximum (38 degrees), not a fault as they have described, and that once the heating was turned back to a comfortable 30 degrees, the ‘problems’ were resolved. This was concurred by an electrician who was called out to check everything.

The villa was just great, and had everything we could have hoped for. The heated pool was a real godsend as we could use the pool every day (in April !!)
We would wholehartedly recommend the villa to anyone who wants a family holiday in quiet surroundings, yet on a resort with everything you could want.

We had a very relaxing week in this lovely villa. The villa is very comfortable and well equipped - it was a real bonus to have a good powerful hairdryer provided and to be able to watch BBC1 on the television! We stayed in mid February and the weather was not good, we paid extra to have the pool heated which we were very pleased about as it enabled us to use it every day. Having three bathrooms was a real luxury as our kids are 10 and 13 and it meant that no-one had to queue! The owners have taken a great deal of time and trouble to make their house a real home from home and we had everything that we could possibly want (apart from sunshine!) and would definitely recommend this property to others.

The Villa was great, just what we needed for a family holiday. Fab pool which we all used and enjoyed, and everything in the villa that we could have asked for. Owners were very helpful before and during the holiday, we plan to be back again next year.

Excellent villa - clean and well equiped. Very child friendly - for once a supply of plastic cups and plates!
Great pool at the villa combined with good facilities on the complex really ensured we had a great time.
Owners are so helpful and friendly - great communication throughout.
Would definitely return and wouldn't hesitate to recommend to friends/family.

The villa was excellent in every way, the resort was also good provided you like that type of holiday, the golf course was in very good condition and not too busy. The owners were very friendly and helpful and sent out additional information to help with our holiday plans.

What a great place for a holiday !
The location of the villa is just perfect. It has great views over orange groves from the patio (which is nicely private) and the fountain area at the front is very pleasant. The resort very much justifies its 5 star status with everything it has to offer, the Spa is just lovely. The heated pool at the villa is an absolute must, in late May the weather was great but without the heating we wouldn't have been able to enjoy the pool. If you explore away from the resort the local area has loads to offer from lovely safe beaches to intersting cities of Cartagena and Murcia, and don't miss the local markets.
We absolutely loved our week and the service that the owners provide is first class.
We would recommend it to anyone who enjoys great weather, great accommodation, great food, great golf .... the 5 star life at a very reasonable price

We had a fabulous holiday at Casa Harbers.
The location of the Villa is perfect with great views front and rear; on a lovely Resort with facilities for all, and close to some great local beaches. Communications from the owners was first class, and they were most helpful. We would recommend this villa to all our friends and will have some very happy memories of our holiday.

Can't fault the property. Very well furnished and the owners have thought of everything from a detailed directions, sent with the key on how to find the property from TWO airports, right down to the fresh orange squeezer !! Well done.

Casa Harbers is a lovely property, definitely value for money,easy to find even in the dark.There was everything we could possibly need in the kitchen, and well labelled as to location.We had arranged with my Grandson to get the basics in,as regards food,only to find that there was ample in the house to start us off. All the rooms are tastefully and comfortably furnished.The fact that the house is on the perimeter of the estate allows great privacy on the patio,with only the orange grove behind you.Even in late November it was lovely on the patio,and having the pool heated was an added bonus.We greatly enjoyed our stay and would certainly use the villa again,and recommend it to our friends

I was very impressed at the attention to detail given to my booking - prompt replies and helpfulness by the owner - nothing seemed too much bother. We felt that the position of the villa was excellent - not overlooked at the front or back. The villa was well equipped and clean and we would recommend it highly. Definitely a relaxing place to stay.

An excellent villa in possibly the best location on the resort. The owners have taken a lot of care in providing everything you could possibly need for an enjoyable holiday and it is all good quality. In addition it is so convenient for both Murcia and Alicante airports. I would recommend it to anybody

The property & location were excellent, loads of information within the property on the surrounding areas and the whole feel of the villa made it feel like home.The resort was also first class and an ideal location to play Golf on its own course and the surrounding area courses.

This holiday accommodation is absolutely first class. Set in a very good position on the resort, it provides every comfort that could be needed whilst on holiday. The owners have put a lot of thought in to equipping the villa to a very high standard.In addition to this is the provision of comprehensive information about the resort and surrounding area. This was extremely useful.
This part of Spain has a lot to recommend it and the situation of this accommodation is ideal for exploring both locally and further afield.

We had a fantastic holiday, very relaxing and just what we needed. We wouldn't think twice about recommending your villa to anyone. The facilities were excellent. When we arrived it was spotlessly clean. The little notes that were displayed around the villa were a brilliant idea and certainly helped us. The views to both the front and rear of the villa were idyllic. Everything was very well thought out and you have been most helpful throughout the whole process. CH Aug 2005
