6 adults plus a toddler stayed at the Almond Villa in September 2010. Gorgeous villa with stunning views. 15 mins walk to Hisaronu and two mins to nearest supermarket. Lovely and clean villa, plenty of room with lovely big pool. Activities unlimited who managed the villa couldnt do enough if with had any problems. The villa is up a slight hill and the road is unmade for a short way but we got taxis most of the time and found it fine with the buggy. Recommend Olu Deniz blue lagoon and definately having any meal at the Mountain Valley restaurant two mins walk away. Overall fab holiday and look forward to staying again. Thank you Terry & Janet for making our stay very welcome.

This was our second visit to the Almond Villa which certainly rates as good as any villa weve previously rented. We had another superb holiday and couldnt fault a thing.
Nothing is too much trouble for the owners and we will definately be visiting again.

What a fantastic villa with a gorgeous view, just far enough out of town to be peaceful. The swimming pool is pure luxury. The owners have obviously put much thought into providing everything you could possibly need for a stay, including tea lights for the power cuts! One small drawback is the unmade road which is unsuitable for delicate sandals.
Unfortunately we were burgled on our first evening, having securely locked up and gone out for a meal. The door onto the patio was kicked in, the door to the understairs cupboard smashed and our belongings strewn everywhere. Fortunately the only thing stolen was some perfume as we were carring our money and passports. Activities Unlimited were excellent, helping us with the Police questioning and repairing the damage and adding further security measures the following day.
So not quite the relaxing holiday we had envisaged as we felt vunerable after this and not wanting to go out in the evenings. Chatting with local residents this appears to be not uncommon in this area during the last twelve months.
But still a fantastic place.
Owner reply:
Villa security has been significantly upgraded since this break in to ensure the security of our guests and their possessions.

Generally this is a great villa, the only thing that lets it out as a small negitive is the access, roads not being complete, poor lighting for the last 200-300mts and up hill all the way,bit of a slog after a few beers!!,overall rating 8 out of 10(good)

Weve been renting villas for a number of years and the Almond Villa was certainly the best. There is not a single thing that we could fault, we certainly intend to visit again. An added bonus the owners are very helpful and nothings to much trouble.

Location was good. Near to the centre of Hisaronu yet far enough away as not to hear any noise.
Easy to get around even if one didnt have a car.
Very friendly and helpful locals.
Will be going back again soon

July 2008. We booked Villa Almond 12 months in advance and from day one we felt that the owners went above and beyond the call of duty for us. From the moment we booked they were available an dhappy to discuss and meet our needs.
When we arrived we immediately felt at home and had a very warm welcome from the local team who look after the villa. Nothing was too much trouble for any of the, the pool man/gardner delivered bread and water as and wehn needed and we hired a safe withting the office of Activities Unlimitted
The Villa and pool are clean, spacious and comfortable, accessible by a slight slope and set in a beautiful location surrounded by spectacular mountain views with a very welcoming breeze. All amenities are close bu with Hisaronu town only a 15 minute walk away, (there is a convenient taxi call button situated right outside the villa)
We had a fantastic holiday made all the more better by staying in a luxurious holiday home which exceeded our expectations and is excellent value fo rmoney with everything you need for a perfect stay. We highly recommend Villa Almond for an enjoyable holiday with family and friends.

The villa is in a quiet area with an easy downhill walk to the main town. The villa is very well equipped with every thing you could need. There is a very good restuarant called Mountain Valley within 5 mins where we ate several times the food was always excellent. There is a small local shop within easy reach. The gardener and pool man was very helpful and will deliver water and fresh bread every morning. Good information pack provided by owners on good places to visit and helpful contacts.

We visited Villa Almond from 3rd -11th August and were all very happy with the villa indeed.
Before our departure, Janet and Terry were very helpful with information and hints for preparing. Our arrival day was unusual, however they were very accommodating about this.
The villa's location was excellent, close to all the amenities, yet it's height provided a welcome breeze. It is 5 mins from Hisaronu and 10 mins from Olu Deniz by car. There is a dolmus stop very close to the villa also.
The villa was really comfortable and the pool was brilliant. We were 100 yards from an excel lend restaurant, The Mountain Valley, which became a favourite of ours. It's service, food and prices were top class. We also arranged a special barbecue banquet evening with a chef for £10 per person. It was a really lovely and memorable evening, although we were bursting at the seems!
Our transfers were organised by a company called Activities Unlimited. They provided excellent service, with a rep visiting us on our first day to brief us with all the information we might need. We organised almost all of our excursions with them (5 days worth!). They were very competitive and provided a higher quality service and excursion than if we had of booked elsewhere. Also, they went well beyond the call of duty with informing us of the terror threats and calling all the companies for us.
I would definitely recommend Villa Almond, as everything was perfect, making our holiday very enjoyable.
Many thanks!
