The villa was good money it was like a home from home, totally comfortable and well equipped. It exceeded my expectations as it was so secure and child friendly with a locking gate down to the pool, I couldn’t have asked for more and wouldn’t hesitate in recommending it to friends. The villa manager was very efficient and easy to contact. There is a lot within walking distance. You will enjoy this villa.

"Had a fantastic holiday here, everything was just as described. Great location, very clean and tidy with everything required for a lovely holiday . Area very quiet and surrounded by considerate neighbours which is fantastic. Beach close by is VERY clean and water quality seems to be of a very high standard. Pool is spotless and with lockable gates children can run around without worry. The roof terrace was like my own little piece of heaven and I only wish I had more time to spend there but car hire is recommended to explore. We would definitely stay here again and recommend to friends and family.

Fabulous property with every thing a family needs. Situated in great location , right next to the heart of town without being in it , Lovely pool and garden , they also did airport transport , didn’t need a car as all what you need is within a few minutes walk , recommend villa and location highly. Just wish we had gone for two weeks!"

The villa was very clean and well maintained and had everything we needed, including toys and games left by the owner. The were six of us, two grandparents, myself and my wife and our two young children 2 and 5 and the villa was the perfect size. Benijofar and Quesada are lovely town centres one is traditional Spanish and one is elegant and modern . The beach was about a 10min drive away. A main supermarket is less than a 2 minute walk and there are a handful of restaurants and bars within a 10 minute walk. Great base to explore nearby towns such as Elche and Alicante , Santa Pola and of course Benidorm with local buses running in between. Would stay again and recommend."

Just back to the Snow ..after spending two weeks in villa Megan . I was so surprised how pleasant the weather was , for Mid November , it was mostly Sunny for the two weeks with High of 21°C and Low of 9°C in average . Villa Megan is lovely home from home. Had everything it said it did and much more like books, games, DVD’s and lots of pool toys. It has a very beautiful pool and patio area with comfortable table and chairs and a hug brick and stone barbecue and very well lit at night Garden great size and gets the sun all day in winter , Walking distance to shops, bars, and restaurants as it says. We tried a few Chinese restaurants , the best was the one near the arches , you can eat as much as you want for 10 Euros each , and it is a table service , ( very good value for money ) , also Nikos the owner may be Greek , and the menu is extensive, the night we went they were holding a Greek night with all the trimmings including plate smashing. But you can also find Flamenco dancers one night with country and western the next. There was also high chair , cot and sterliser if needed. We also got airport transfer with car seat for little one . Would recommend it and would use again,. Nice also to know Darren was on the end of the phone and close by if you needed anything. Overall lovely family holiday! Nicely surprised by how clean, peaceful and convenient. The location of villa Megan is

Our 4th visit to villa Megan . The villa is spot on as usual , we just love being there, .It is a second home for us , done our Xmas shopping in Alicante city which about 30 minutes drive from the villa , The Rambla de Méndez Núñez is the traditional shopping area of the city, its a vibrant street to meander down that offers you a good choice of shops as well as a slice of Alicante life! In the streets between The Rambla and Avenida de Frederico Soto you will find a number of individually owned shops , El Corte Ingles, the largest department store chain in Spain intermingled with café bars and restaurants. Just loved it .after a long day of shopping it is nice to go back to villa Megan and have a Peaceful evening will be back soon . thank you for this nice relaxing time .

Lovely villa and pool/ jacuzzi and very helpful owners and villa manager .Great town and area. Plenty of restaurants and bars just a few minutes’ walk from the villa .In fact villa Megan has a fantastic location it is very central to all majors cities and towns in Costa Blanca ,it is situated 2 minutes from the AP-7 highway , which is the main road to all major cities in Costa Blanca . The villa is 30 minutes drive from Alicante and Murcia Cities , 45 minutes drive from Benidorm and Lamanga . The villa was comfortable for the Six of us and we had a great time there, and everyone is extremely helpful. All of the rooms are ideal with a well equipped kitchen , a great BBQ and patio sitting area , . The sun lounge is just right to sit down and relax with a good book or to talk about the day’s activities. The BBQ , patio area and pool are well light at night so you can have fun any time . Guardamar is a nice place to spend the day with lovely beaches only 10 minutes drive and it has a late market every night one miles long which close about 3:00 am in the morning but if you want the night live Torrevieja is the place to be which 5 miles from the villa, with a long seaside promenade just like the one in Benidorm . full of great restaurants, bars, Ice cream and Coffee bars to die for, and has a nice all night fun fair just on the beach for the young ones . I can recommend this villa and location and would look to go back..soon. ……Thank you for the great Holiday …

The Villa is beautiful. fully equipped, a home from home. The pool is just fantastic specially early in the morning, the garden is far better than the pictures on the web page, love the fruit trees. A hire car is advisable but not essential to see the local sites and beautiful nearby cities like Torrevieja, Elche , Murcia , Alicante , Guardamar and Benidorm., But if you fancy a drink and good food you can walk a few minutes to Quesada town centre , all you need is just a few minutes away. Lots of tourist info in the villa visitors folders , the Villa manager Darren knows the area very well and best places to see and visit and he will take you and pick you back if you don’t have a car ( great service ), We can’t wait to get back , and we very much recommend this villa and this peaceful location

Very much enjoyed 2 weeks at this lovely villa. The facilities was excellent , It was so accessible for our disabled Son, he was able to go in to the pool and the shower easily, and the doorways and corridors are wide enough for a wheelchair. We enjoyed good food locally, and the area was delightful. Thank you to Darren the villa manager who was so helpful. We enjoyed it so much we are planning to return next year, especially as we have a 10% returning customer discount. We would recommend this villa highly.

Enjoyed a wonderful holiday at villa Megan, terrific villa and pool and always maintained to its best even though it is fully booked all summer . Sad to leave it especially returning to miserable weather after temperatures in the upper thirties. Trying to book up for next year if I can change my holidays, as it’s getting booked up fast.….hardly surprising. The only way you will appreciate this villa and location is to be there ..Thanks to Darren for all his help.

Villa and Pool excellent, had a really relaxing stay, only one small downfall - supermarket was a little far away to carry the food back - it will be better when the new one opens nearby at the end of this summer.
Beds were very comfortable and the air conditioning worked great.
Darren - "The man that can" helps in every way and has loads of local knowledge
Really enjoyed ourselves and will recommend to anyone who is after a quiet relaxing break
Many thanks
Owner reply:
Thank you Kieron and Sue,
Glad you enjoyed our place. Yes, the new supermarket will be great when it opens. Your comment about carrying shopping prompted me, when Im there next Ill buy a shopping trolley for guests to use.
Thanks again for your recommendation.

Fantastic villa as always. And the pool was lovely to relax in the temperature averaged about 32C during the day and about 26C in the evening and not one single dro p of rain for the whole week. We were lucky enough to catch the festivals in the local town of Quesada, on 2 of the 3 nights that they were on. Beautiful ....lovely atmosphere in the town. Enjoyed watching the fireworks from the villa rooftop, drinking sangria. Hoping to return for longer next year to see the festivals in the other towns that we missed. My son and his family are booked to be there for next week and they can’t wait ...don’t blame them.

Another great holiday at Villa Megan …A comfortable home from home.
Enjoyed a day trip to Tabarka Island,
14 Euros on the ferry from Santa Pola (15 minutes drive from villa Megan ) , Parking in the Marina car park is 3 Euros for 8 hours .
Snorkels are a must as you can swim with the fishes and there are plenty of them.
We took a picnic with us, but there are some restaurants on the island . Disappointed that the new supermarket at the end of the street isn’t opened yet, but it will be by the time we come again.
Owner reply:
Hi Sarah
Glad you enjoyed your holiday. Thank you for your continued custom, It is great to have guests return. Yes the new supermarket will be so useful , I noticed that there is a lovely little play park built next door to it too, ideal for younger children . The restaurant over the main road is new a wok Chinese restaurant which I think will be another advantage to the area. All in All even more facilities for our guests and for us. Looking forward to see back again in October take care

This is our fifth holiday in Villa Megan and thoroughly enjoyed it my grandchildren now refer to it as "our house in Spain". The Villa is very comfortable and really does feel like "home from home". You can’t beat villa Megan and its location for a fantastic relaxing holiday, the patio, garden and pool areas are gorgeous (just gets better and better) and so to sit in especially at night when the pool is lit up you can’t resist a midnight dip. The weather was absolutely fantastic for early May and we didn’t have one single rain dro p. We keep discovering every year new attractions and beautiful places to visit , The Gallinera Valley is one of the loveliest of valleys with its blossomed almond and cherry trees is only 60 minutes drive from the villa just north of Banidorm , The owners and villa Manger kept in touch with us the night before and the morning of our flight so they can reschedule our picking up time from Murcia airport in case it was disrupted by the Ash cloud , Thank you very much for looking after us very well and look forward to go back in September .

Home to Home is how I would describe Villa Megan. Everything you need plus more. Had a great week in the sun in peaceful surroundings. The temperature averaged 22 C in early April and this was really pleasant, we rented a car from the airport, I would say that a car is not essential for your stay but it gave us great flexibility enabling us to travel around the area. There are some beautiful places to visit in Costa Blanca, Benidorm was 60 minutes drive from the Villa, and the beautiful Gallinera Valley is 90 minutes drive. . Everything you could wish for is within 10 minutes walk there are lots of restaurants and pubs close by but not close enough to interfere with your stay. This villa and location are certainly value for money. I would recommend this to anyone without hesitation and will visit again soon.

We holidayed as a family covering 3 generations, and would highly recommend the Villa Megan. The villa was exactly as described, it is a really lovely property.
The villa itself is situated on a very quiet and friendly road
On our arrival we were met by Darren as promised, the house was spotlessly clean with everything you need provided for your arrival
Its in an ideal location, within easy walking distance to the bars, shops and restaurants of Ciudad Quesada. A short 5 min drive takes you to the typically Spanish town of Benjifor, with the huge sandy beaches of Guardamar only 10mins or so by car
We would definatley stay again, our thanks to the owner Mahmoud for his contact before we travelled and indeed after our return to check all was OK. Also to Darren whilst we were away not least for his immaculate pool cleaning, certainly one of the cleanest pools we have had of many villa holidays
Owner reply:
Thank you for your lovely review. Mahmoud and I love to know that people have enjoyed their holiday. Looking forward to your next visit. Carole

We had a very enjoyable holiday. Write up about the villa is true to fact. Area was peaceful and quiet. We had a few days of rain (mid March) but didn’t spoil our holiday as there was much to see indoors as well as outdoors. The roads are very good, and it took less than 30 minutes from Alicante airport to reach the Villa. You have every thing you need in this villa and location for a relaxing enjoyable holiday.

For all the holidays we have been to this one was the most relaxing and enjoyable. Everything was precisely as mentioned on the website and more. Absolutely perfect location to see most of the major cities and finest tourist attractions in Costa Blanca. Visited nearby San Miguel and Benidorm. Villa Manager was happy to help with anything. Will be back soon.

The villa is first class clean and comfortable and it has all the facilities you need for a self catering holiday. The villa is 3 minutes from the A-7 and it took us 30 minutes to arrive to it from Alicante airport. The Villa is located in an exclusive and peaceful part of Benijofar but only 7 minutes walk to Quesada town centre, an elegant town centre with all the conveniences you need if you don’t have a car as mentioned in the Villa write up. Villa Manager was on the Ball from our arrived until we left and the Neighbours were very friendly. It was home from home. Weather was just the thing, sunny and temp average was 20C, brilliant for early March. As you walk to Quesada arches (7 minutes from villa) there is a petrol station opposite to it is Rosa Tour , in which you can book long trips and excursions , the staff speak very good English, we booked a lovely 2 days one night trip to Granada’s Alhambra palace exclusive with a 4 star hotel ( Hotel Alixares , which is 200 yards from the fortress entrance ). The Bus picked us up from the arches and dro pped us back and we had the most enjoyable time ever and it was good value for money). It pays to book villas like Villa megan which is located 32 km form the borders of Andalusia with all of its beautiful cities and towns and its scenic Sierra Nevada mount range and also 20/30 minutes drive from picturesque cities such as Elche , Murcia and Alicante and 10 minutes drive from the pretty sea resorts of Torrevieja and Guardamar not forgetting the 45 minutes drive to Benidorm. You will enjoy this Villa and its superb and convenient location. We are going back soon.

So glad that we went back to villamegan. We really appreciated the sunshine. Spent a couple of days visiting the surrounding areas such as Elche which was so serene and of course couldn’t pass the chance to visit Benidorm which is so lively. We felt we had the best of both worlds. We have enjoyed this villa and its surrounding areas so much that we have booked it for our son’s honeymoon in July.

I have visited villa Megan last October with friends and had one of my best holidays. The villa was comfy for 6 of us and not forgetting its lovely pool and a Jacuzzi. The pool had internal lights and we swam till mid night. The villa is located in a nice suburb with a few minutes walk to Quesada centre with its charming bars and restaurants to suite all tastes and surprisingly reasonably priced. We hired a car locally (which you don’t need most of the time). It took us 10 minutes drive to the beautiful sandy beaches of Guardamar and Torrevieja , which I highly recommend seeing , all and all we had a splendid holiday and I have booked again to go next April . P.S , the Villa manager and owners are most helpful .

Had a very fine time. The villa is properly maintained and clean. Excellent location, approximately 10 minutes walk to the beautiful and lively Quesada town centre which we enjoyed very much and 20 minutes walk to the graceful village of Benijofar in the opposite direction. Weather was bright for Jan but cold. The villa was warm and nice. Villa manager Darren was caring and helpful. We will recommend this villa to all our friends and hope to be back soon.

This is my second booking for this beautiful villa and my daughter and I were very much looking forward to get there but unfortunately due to some personnel circumstances two days before our holiday due to start we couldn’t make it. I would like to thank the owners for all their continuous help and support and for making alternative arrangements at a very short notice. Look forward to be there soon.

Superb Villa, location and a very helpful and pleasant Villa manager. We had a relaxing and enjoyable time. The Villa is spotless, spacious with well equipped kitchen. Car is not essential we booked the Villa pick up and dro p off service from and to Alicante airport which is reasonably priced and walked into town centre which is 5-10 minutes (No stress). Thanks Darren for looking after us. We strongly recommend this Villa.

Excellent holiday, every thing was as it was expected to be. The weather was warm for November. We are normally 5 star hotel people and if you can please us you can please any one. Location is perfect, No need for a car. So peaceful and yet a few minutes walk to Quesada town centre with a variety of bars, restaurants bazaars and shops to suit every taste. The villa was spotless and equipped with every thing you may need for a relaxing holiday and we were impressed with the standard of this villa.
It was home from home. The villa manager was very helpful and we have to say that the neighbours are so friendly and caring. This villa will be a regular destination for us. You will not be disappointed in booking this villa.

Here again this villa never fails to impress. Had a fantastic holiday. Loved walking in to Quesada for night life and shopping. The villa and pool were lovely and clean and the villa Manager was really helpful and took good care of us. The villa is designed well for elderly people like us and is very comfortable.

Simply the best. Two weeks is not enough to enjoy this splendid comfortable villa or the area. We did not want to leave. The pool was magnificent and very clean. The facilities in the villa are the finest we ever had in a holiday. Excellent value for money. Very helpful owners and villa manager, a part from having fun and barbequing beside the pool / Jacuzzi and enjoying the few minutes walk from the villa to Quesada centre with its trendy and Chic bars and restaurants we have visited the tourist attractions nearby, just a few minutes from the villa is the beautiful historic city of Elche with its beautiful palm trees, cathedrals and museums (recommended highly). Also the cities of Alicante and Murcia not forgetting a lovely day in the nearby Benidorm. There is no dot that we will repeat this experience again very soon.
You will enjoy this villa and its local area.

Wonderful holiday. We had 10 days of pure relaxation in a lovely clean and comfotrable villa. Didnt need to have the hire car all the time as villa is so close to Quesada centre, but not too close to be disturbed. Would go again any time.

This Villa is fantastic, so clean, every possible gadget you would need is in this villa, really nice area, near to town centre where there is a supermarket and lots of bars and restaurants. The pool was a delight as the temperature when we visited reached the high 30s

We went as a family of 6 to this villa and had one of the best holidays that we have ever had all together! It is so well equipped.Everything that is mentioned in the summary is there and lots more, even down to soft toys for children,to lots of easy listening cds, to games and cards for adults/children to play with. The pool/jacuzzi is superb, very clean and well maintained by Darren the villa manager who is available at any time to help with any problems that you may have, although we had none but did call on him a few times for a lift to the local supermarket!!!!There are fruit trees in the garden and when we were there in July/August we were lucky enough to be able to pick oranges straight off the tree and squeeze them in the juicer!! The reviews do not really give this property justice, the only way to really appreciate what this villa has to offer is to book up and go see for yourself,we have only been back for 1 week and have already booked again for next summer!!!This villa is a credit to its owners, and is very well maintained by Darren.
Owner reply:
Many, many thanks for your great review and also for your repeat booking.( We have passed your comments on to Darren and Claire).

This is a very well appointed and comfortable villa in a very quiet area, yet within a very short walk of shops and restaurants. We have two young children and a baby, and found this villa suited our needs well. We all enjoyed the lovely pool! Darren, the property manager, is extremely helpful too.

Excellent holiday. Lovely villa good location. Our first holiday with 4 month old baby villa didnt disappoint clean & well laid out. Large patio excellent for keeping baby in shade. Pool had sun all day lovely as I like to sunbathe. Villa manager very helpful. Only short walk to the centre of Quesada bars/restaurants plenty to choose from.

We had a very good holiday and you have a lovely villa. Clean, well laid out and appointed. In summer, when you can use patio and the pool it will be super. The urbanisation is very select, safe and quiet. The walk to the centre of Quesada only takes a few minutes and and there are several bars/restaurants to suite all tastes. The local golf course, [we had 6 games] is only 10 minutes away over the hill [if you do not get lost] The beaches are never far away with a multitude of eating places.
The roads are very good, once you have mastered their sign posts. [Once it has indicated a town, keep going straight ahead until it tells you to turn off.]
You will like this villa and the area.

I booked this Villa for two weeks in April 2007, for five of us .I heard about this Villa through a friend of my family, on arrival we were met at Alicante airport by the villa manger and it took 25 minutes to arrive at the Villa. As we arrived on a Public holiday in Spain and all the nearby supermarkets were closed, we found the Welcome pack of tea; coffee, bread and other essentials we ordered before arrival were a godsend. As a disabled person I had no problems using my wheel chair a round the place. We had a good stay at Villa and it far exceeds the photos which do not do it complete justice, Plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. The kids loved the pool and Jacuzzi, and were in there all the time. Even at night because it has lights. The villa is well equipped and suitable for children and people with mobility problems. . There are loads more that I could say but would take forever putting it down. Would and will definitely come back to Villa Megan again... we had a great time..."
