Description
Entering the house through the double shady carport is the lobby/wc with wood floors and high ceilings. The large kitchen is colonial style, with louvre shutters and washed green and yellow floors. The open -plan dining room and living room is spacious yet cozy with the ceiling fans keeping the ‘old world’ atmosphere. A lower floor contains Panom Villa’s brightly coloured three bedrooms, one twin en-suite, one double en-suite and a spacious master bedroom with its own large bathroom. The top floor is an amazing pool deck and sala, great for relaxing and watching Phuket’s famous sunsets. This is an interesting and attractive property for a holiday with a view
Location
This part of the Phuket coastline is perfect for a beach and nightlife holiday. Nearby to the villa is the mile long Karon Beach where crystal clear waters crash onto the white sands. At night the whole area is alive with bars and cafes, but fortunately the villa is high enough not to hear the din. To the south is the more sheltered Kata Beach and home to Club Med, some fine dining opportunities here. Take a drive north and it’s only ten minutes to cosmopolitan Patong, with great shopping and nightlife.
Accomodation
Bedrooms:
The Panom Villa bedrooms are all light and airy with a twin, double and master, all en-suite. The master bedroom has internal windows that open onto the bathroom, with a bathtub big enough for two. The twin and double come with w/c and showers. There are great views from all the bedrooms.
Bathroom:
The tropical design continues into the bathrooms with concrete wash soft colours and bright local ceramics. Glass divides for showers give a feeling of space with modern fixtures throughout. All the bathrooms are en-suite and ready to cool you down in Phuket’s tropical climate.
Kitchen:
Panom’s square kitchen has lots of elbow room for preparing some of Phuket’s fresh seafood, lobster, squid and crab are available locally and you have all the appliances at hand for lazy lunches or more formal dinners. The large double door fridge keeps all your produce in perfect condition and the hob and oven are integral. After meals the dishwasher will come in handy. The open-plan design means that you’re not cut off from fellow guests.
Living rooms:
High ceilings with fans give this open space a tropical feel. Open the shutters to amazing distant sea views. The comfy sofas with Thai cushions help you relax and perhaps catch a movie on the wall mounted plasma TV.
