Desription
Set into a steep hillside on four floors in ‘old colonial’ style with lots of louvre shutters, ceiling fans and washed concrete floors give this property a unique feel. Unusual features like the dumb waiter allows you to send drinks up to the roof pool terrace from the kitchen below. The lower ground floor is self-contained with double bedroom, high ceilinged living room, simple kitchen with washing machine and an outdoor bath/Jacuzzi. From the terrace you can hear the sounds of rushing water from a nearby steam. The villa has a very relaxing atmosphere, ensuring you’ll have a great holiday here.
The ground floor has a state-of -the-art western kitchen with big oven and gas hob. Open-plan, this area leads into the combined dining room and living room with plasma TV. You can enjoy great views in all directions. A wooden staircase leads to three double bedrooms, one with twin beds and shower and two with a bath. All have the same décor as downstairs, but now with yellow floors. The final staircase leads to the roof top terrace and infinity pool. The garden has lots of shade, sea breezes and a view to die for.
Location
Villa Samoot Sawan is located on top of a hill and off the main road leading to the mile long Karon Beach. The nearby Karon Temple is now surrounded by shops and sidewalk cafes. There is busy nightlife in this area, but luckily the villa is far enough and high enough away not to hear the music. To the north, Patong or ‘party central’ as it’s known locally, is a ten minute drive. To the south is Kata Beach, home to famous Club Med and well known as a surfer’s paradise

Bedrooms:
The Samoot Sawan bedrooms are a visual delight, and unusually most come with a bathroom attached. There are three doubles that are queen size and one twin. All bedrooms come with nice views over the surrounding countryside and sea.
Bathroom:
The Samoot Sawan bathrooms are pleasant tropical colours with lots of washed concrete and pretty local tiles. Hot water is available throughout, so relax in one of the several baths.
Kitchen:
The ground floor kitchen has everything an aspiring chef could desire, with heavy cutlery, posh plates and glasses. A large fridge keeps everything cool, the microwave and a huge oven are integral. A breakfast bar provides even more work space.
Living rooms:
The living room has a high ceiling with fans, lots of sofa space and a wall -mounted plasma TV. All the villa’s floor-to-ceiling shutters open to reveal great views of steep woods, valleys and the sea.
