What a wonderful villa! The rooms were spacious, accomdating and everything looked just exactly like the pictures - no trick photography here! It was obvious to me at the time of booking that Huay Yai village was going to be a bit of a trek from Pattay / Jomtien, but the serenity of the Thai country side is well worth the drive. Trying to call a taxi to pick up at the villas can be a frustrating experience, but even I found that it wasnt that hard to get around and it was just really nice to be able to escape the hussle & bussle of the nighttime beach areas. Wat Huay Yai - just a 300m walk down the main road - is definitely worth visit.
Keith & Anne were just fantastic hosts, and honestly I think we spent more time hanging out with them than we did in any of the down town areas. We were a bit put off that during the on-line booking phase just before you pay on-line theres an "oh by the way" advisement that the proprietors accept "couples only" as tenants. Apparently, this a construct of "villa renters.com" that Kieth & Anne have no control over. (The implication was that the villa owners might be a bit "up tight" but nothing could have been further from the truth!). Just ignore that statement when you go to book the villa on-line. The environment at the villas would be suitable for almost age or type of person - theres a bit of something there for everyones taste.
Just as in the other reviews, P.K.s bar was spot on. Just a really great place! I would definitey recomend staying Villa Chokdee to friends & family, and will very probably come back to visit again soon myself!

We would like to take this opertunity to thank Keith and Anne for a great two week holiday, the Villa was lovely with a great Garden for the kids, The pool was beautiful and kept us all entertained.
The Villa was more than we expected and excellent value for money.

We really enjoyed our 10 Night stay at the Villa. Keith and his wife are very nice and helpful people. They had some helpful tips to explore the vicinity of Huay Yai and the Pattaya area. We very much appreciated Keith's recommendations for dinin at Pks and the quite beach just south of Jomtien. Our tip for the beach: If you are looking for a quite and peacful place, Ton-Hards restaurant has great food and provides sunbeds and shade parking free of charge ( Close to Pinnecle resort ).
The Villa itself is as shown on the Web site and the rooms look exactly like on the pictures. each room is spacious and seperately airconditioned. Our bds were made every day and even the dishes have been cleaned.
The pool and its area is very clean and nicely decorated. We also liked the illumination at night time. The entrance to the Villa Complex was lit up at night too. After nights out in noisy Pattaya, we loved comming "home" each night to our "tranquil hideaway". In our opinionKeith and his wife have very good taste and it shows everywhere in the property.
We would definately recommend this Villa to our friends, but do suggest to rent car / bike to get around.
