NEW KITCHEN is now Double the Size. Complete with black granite work surfaces and marble tiles it has everything you need for a self catering holiday.

LARGE OPEN PLAN LIVING AREA has a Character Fireplace, Natural Stone Feature Walls and faces south offering Sea and Sunset Views. New French doors lead directly out onto the private terrace equipt with table and chairs to enjoy drinks, meals or simply sit back and enjoy the views. The sunsets are wonderful from our terrace!

LARGE BEDROOM is spacious and air-conditioned. New custom made wrought iron head board and side tables, together with the Natural Stone Feature Walls add Character to the room. Relax and enjoy the Sea and Sunset views through the bedroom window.

Palm 235 is away from the majority of rented properties on Patara Prince making Palm 235 seem more Private and is quieter. Palm 235s large garden is not shared or accessed by any adjoining properties. The terrace and garden is lovely and feature Habiscus, Bourgonvilla, Passion Flower amongst others.

Within 200 metres of Palm 235 you will find: The Infinity Pool - with Childrens Pool, Clubhouse, and Tennis Courts and a handy Shop for groceries, all accessible from the top gate on the Main Road. The Thursday Market is well worth a visit for Fresh Organic fruit and veg brought down from the mountains by villagers, who also sell their various crafts and Turkish rugs.


KALKAN, BEACHES, ADVENTURE, LYCIAN HISTORY

KALKAN a beautiful Mediterranean town sitting at the foot of the Taurus Mountains. It gently rises from the bay and can be reached on foot, by taxi boat or by taxi from Patara Prince. Kalkan is charming with brilliant blue crystal-clear sea, ancient history and warm traditional Turkish hospitality. Cobbled streets, lined with shops and boutiques wind their way down to the pretty harbour and small beach. Kalkan transforms at dusk as it begins to bustle with activity. An abundance of restaurants, many of them set on roof top terraces offer a culinary delight, with wonderful views over the bay.

PATARA BEACH with miles of golden sand features regularly in brochures as one of the Mediterraneans most beautiful beaches and was recently voted the 2nd best beach in Europe by The Telegraph. Entrance to the beach is through the ruins of the ancient city of Patara, with a triumphal gate, baths, a theatre and a few temples. At sunset the beach is closed as it is one of the few places in the world where endangered Loggerhead turtles come to lay their eggs.

KAPUTAS a lovely sandy beach is nestled at the foot of a striking mountain gorge. The water is always a brilliant turquoise blue. Kaputas Beach is about 4� miles from Patara Prince. Hop in a taxi or catch a dolomus from Kalkan.

KAS a town with life revolving around the town square and harbour with many restaurants and cafes to stop at and watch the world go by. On the sheer rock mountain wall above the town there are a number of Lycian rock tombs, which are illuminated at night.

SCUBA DIVING - the Mediterranean with its warm, calm, tide free seas with great visibility make this area ideal.

MOUNTING TREKKING in the mountains of Lycia offers some of the most beautiful scenery in the Taurus range.

PARAGLIDING tandem or solo take a trip to Kas where there is an excellent and well known paragliding centre.

HORSE RIDING - the ride begins at the stables in Patara and takes you along the river until you reach the beach, where you have a chance to cool off and have a swim. After this we continue our ride along the country tracks stopping for a while by a lagoon. As the horses tire we make our way back to Patara enjoying the beautiful views of Patara beach.

SAKLIKENT GORGE is the ideal place to visit if you are feeling especially hot. The gorge is 18km long and so steep and narrow that the sun does not penetrate, so the water is icy cold. The gorge is approached along a wooden boardwalk above the river and opens out to a series of wooden platforms suspended above the water, where you can buy and eat trout at one of the specialist restaurants.

KAYA KOY - Once a thriving Greek village, this town of over one thousand houses, two churches, fourteen chapels, and two schools, was completely deserted in 1923 when the 25,000 Greek inhabitants living there, along with more than a million other Greeks living throughout Turkey were repatriated to Greece through a massive government mandated population exchange between the two countries following the Greek war of independence. Since then, the village of Kayakoy, as it is called in Turkish, or Karmylassos, as it was called in Greek, which had been continually inhabited since at least the 13th century, has stood empty and crumbling, with only the breeze from the mountains and mist from the sea blowing through its empty houses and streets. A wonderful place steeped in history that touches you to the very soul.

XANTHOS a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the six principal cities of Lycia. Xanthos was the capital city of the Lycian Federation and its greatest city for most of Lycian history.

LETOON was the sacred cult centre of Lycia its most important sanctuary and was dedicated to the three national deities of Lycia - Leto and her twin children Apollo and Artemis.

CHURCH OF ST NICHOLAS - Lycias celebrity. St. Nicholas was a popular bishop at Myra in the 4th century AD, born in Patara between 260 and 280 AD, famous for his miracles and known for his kindness.

MYRA was a leading city of the Lycian unio n and surpassed Xanthos in early Byzantine times to become the capital city of Lycia.

TLOS best-known for its fortress-topped acropolis, with its rock-cut tomb-covered sides and its 360 degree panoramic views. As one of the six principal cities of Lycia and one of the most powerful.

SUNKEN CITY OF KEKOVA - along the shore of Kekova Island are Byzantine foundations and ruins, partly submerged in the sea - the Sunken City.

The apartment is in a very quiet area. It has access to a shared swimming pool, a south facing patio area, sea views, panoramic views, a tennis court. If you are driving there is private parking with the outside areas of the house having external lighting.
